The Author of This Page

Hello, I am a 14 year old boy who has taken an interest to poetry for a while.  I started writing poetry from a younger age.  In grade four there was a contest in our region to write a poem concerning Remembrance Day(The day used to commemorate the soldiers of WW1)  I took interest in this competition and decided to write a poem.  Upon completion of my poem I was very excited.  The thrill of writing a poem was an amazing experience to me.  I submitted my poem with joy and a few weeks later the results had come in.  I won third place!  Ever since then I took to writing poetry.  I have improved my skills over the years, but my writing is still not phenomenal.  I have participated in many competitions and have even had my poems published.  Now I want to share my poems with you!  I will be updating this blog with poems for you reader to enjoy reading.  I am very welcoming to any constructive criticism you guys have to offer!  Also, if you want your own poems published on this blog feel free to contact me and it can easily be arranged!  Enjoy!
